We have a number of pruners with an ergonomic design.

Hans
We have a number of pruners with an ergonomic design. The model K-0600 and the K-0650. All the red handled Metallo pruners are designed with a two position lock. Why is this important? By having a two position lock the user can chose to lock the opening so the blade jaw only opens up part way so they do not have to constantly grab the handle with the tips of their fingers to make the cut. This is a nice feature since a good percentage of the time you are not cutting large material that would require the jaw to be fully open. This makes it easier on the hands because it takes less pressure to perform the cut. The handle on the K-0600 also is designed to better fit ones hand with a handle design that allows the hand to grip the pruner properly and not allow the hand to slide forward. The K-0650 has a lower handle that rotates to allow the grip to be positive even when the direction of the cut changes.

After blooming, remove the oldest canes that are showing no signs of new growth. The Green House Tools from Metallo Tools the Right Way to Prevent Diseases in the Green House

Metallo Tools is one of the most popular suppliers of various gardening hand tools like loppers, pruners, knives and other green house equipments. There was a large outbreak of diseases caused by cross contamination and this was a matter of great concern among the green house owners. They were desperately searching for ways to control the cross contamination caused during pruning and harvesting in the green houses. The mass growing of plants in the green house added to the problem.
Metallo Tools held discussions with many of the green house owners in Netherlands. It constituted a team of engineers, specialists and customers in the year 2008 to study this problem in a detailed manner. They collected and analyzed the tools that were supplied by other companies. It was found that these were too expensive and were very short in supply as they are handmade with limited supply.  To make the tools available easily Metallo Tools came out with its first Germo knife in 2008. This looked very similar to the one that is currently available but differed in the way it controlled the flow of liquid while using on the plants.
After field tests it was found that the Germo knife needed some more improvements. Then in the year 2010 the present model of Germo knife was introduced with all these improvements in their range of greenhouse tools. In this plugs were used to control the flow of liquids during its use on the plants. The Germo scissors, the loppers and pruners that were introduced later in the market also came with the same technology.
In the present days the Germo scissors are used mostly for harvesting cucumbers and this has been designed in such a way that there is no chance for growth of bacteria in the cut wounds as a liquid is used on the wounds to heal them instantly. Skimmed milk is the liquid that is used for this in Netherlands and the Germo Scissors come with different plugs with openings from 0.5mm to 1.5mm to control the flow of liquid on both the sides of the blade. These are also used for cutting tomatoes in the green houses. Though these function similar to the Germo knife it uses a sprayer to spray each cut area with a healing liquid to heal the cut surfaces.
Though different types of liquids are used most of them use disinfectant liquids for this purpose. The Germo knife is provided with a waist belt for attaching the reservoir for the liquid and a strong hose connects them. Many of the Germo knives are in use in Canadian green houses and in case of need arrangements can be made to discuss with the Green house owners in Canada. The leaf cutter is yet another of the green house tools supplied by Metallo Tools and this is used for removing the unwanted leaves in the tomato wires. This supplies more energy and light to the fruits for their proper growth. By using this leaf cutter it is possible to cut even the leaves on the lower part of the plant without damaging the stems. As this comes with very sharp blades it is possible to have a neat and easy cut. This is able to prevent diseases in the plants that are grown in the green houses.

Use Milk as fungicide and get rid of fungus infection the natural way

You have to use the right green house tools to safeguard your vegetable and fruit plants so that they are not infected by fungus and other micro organisms. If the plants are attacked by fungus and do not take care of them they may be completely destroyed. There are many types of conventional fungicides containing chemicals. But you can use ordinary milk as a fungicide for getting good results. It is not yet clear how milk is able to fight against fungus. But most of those researching on this topic believe that the potassium phosphate present in the milk is able to enhance the levels of immunity in the plant.
Instead of using solutions of soap and oil or that of baking soda you can use milk to fight the spreading of fungus if you want to do farming the organic way. Do not forget to use pruners and loppers or other types of garden handtools to get rid of the heavily damaged leaves from the plants and then start applying milk solution on them. You have to prepare the milk in the right concentrations and apply it following the right schedules so that it is effective in controlling the fungus. Also select the best green house tools to get better results in your fungus removal efforts.
The age of the plant, the level of infection and the type of the plants are some of the main factors that decide the strength and frequency of the application of the milk solution. Never apply milk to your plants before using your loppers to clean your plants of heavily damaged plant parts. The milk solution you use on your plants may be undiluted or it may be diluted up to 1:9 parts as per the severity of the fungus infection. For best results you have to repeat the application at least up to 3 or 4 days to completely get rid of the fungus on your plants.
All types of milk can be used as fungicide and among them use of skimmed milk is more effective than the whole milk. The milk reconstituted from milk powder is also equally effective in completely doing away with the fungal infection.  Milk is very effective in controlling powdery mildew in Squash plants. You can use milk for controlling fungus attack in Begonias, Rudebekia etc. It can be used for curing Botrytis on your Cyclamen houseplant but you must use your pruners to completely remove the leaves that have been damaged by fungus.
You can also milk as a good fungicide for getting rid of the black spots and green rust disease in rose plants. Use good loppers to prune more damaged leaves and branches and you can use your gardening hand tools to win your fight against the fungus infections. This is the right way to use milk as one of the green house tools to completely remove all types of fungus on your plants in the most natural way.

Common Issues With Your Lawn And What You Can Do

Before we will give you a few valuable hints, please post in the comment section at the end of this article where you buy your landscaping and greenhouse hand tools.Thank you very much!

Close your eyes and picture your yard. Are you happy about what you see? If not, today is the day for change. This article will provide you with many tips and techniques, which can take your yard from junk to oasis in a short amount of time, and your budget won't be broken. Always use the proper tools when doing any landscape project. If you have a stump that needs to be removed, rent a backhoe and remove it properly, do not try to do it with a truck. If you have a lot of material that needs to be moved, use wheelbarrows to reduce strain. Use the right tools for the job, and you will save yourself some grief.
TIP! Create a budget for your landscaping efforts. It's easy to get carried away and buy tools or materials that you can't really afford.
When planning a landscaping project for your house, make sure that you are aware of the trending prices of different products. This is important to know, because you will find that some items vary greatly not only at different times of the year, but also, due to other factors, such as poor weather or natural disasters. Whether your lawn needs a major overhaul, it is just time to get it growing again in the spring, aeration is a great idea. The aerating process involves punching small holes through the turf to improve soil drainage. If you have a tiny lawn, you can handle aeration with manual tools. For bigger areas, mechanical aerators are available. Always wear proper safety gear when doing any landscaping projects. This includes wearing good strong gloves to protect your hands. Wear eye protection when using any power saws or tools. And remember to protect your skin from the sun by wearing long-sleeved shirts or a good sun screen lotion and a hat.
TIP! As you design, or add to your landscape, make paths wide to allow for wheelbarrows, and other lawn tools. It is important to reduce the amount of traffic on your lawn, especially when larger lawn tools are in use.
If you are adding archways, or pergolas to your yard, make sure that they are tall enough. A good average height is 8 feet. If you make an archway too short, people will not be able to walk underneath it and enjoy it. If you make it too tall, it can look overwhelming, and out of place. Before you buy anything, take the time to draw a detailed sketch of your garden. You should know exactly where things go in addition to which order you will proceed to create your landscape. Give yourself a few weeks to review your sketches and make a few changes, if you need to. When you are choosing tools for your landscape maintenance, keep it simple. Landscaping is an ongoing project. Consider an automatic sprinkler and the right size mower for the job. Mowing can be tedious when confronted with a large yard and an inadequate mower. However, if your yard is rather small, consider a simpler, hand-push mower that will also save money.
TIP! Whether your lawn needs a major overhaul, it is just time to get it growing again in the spring, aeration is a great idea. The aerating process involves punching small holes through the turf to improve soil drainage.
Use balance, not symmetry. A balanced distribution of plants creates a focal point, but the garden should never be symmetrical. For example, a large tree to the left of the garden can be balanced by two smaller trees to the right. This creates a much more desirable effect in the garden, whereas a symmetrical look appears completely unnatural. When landscaping your residence, it is important to consider what type of watering system you desire. It is just as important to have that in place as you implement each part of the landscape. There are many available options including underground watering systems, soaker hoses, sprinklers, and much more. Befriend your neighbors. You might be able to share costs when you rent equipment or buy large quantities of landscaping supplies together. Offer to help your neighbors with their landscaping project and they will probably help you with yours. Let people borrow your tools and talk about creating a common tool collection.
TIP! When you start performing a landscaping project, it is very important to establish a budget first. Certain tools, accessories and live plants can be more costly than you think and can make an impact on your plans.
When planning a landscaping project for your house, be sure to be friendly with your neighbors and build up a relationship. This can be important because you may be able to save quite a bit of money by sharing equipment that you either purchase or rent. You may also be able to obtain or share a vast amount of experience and tips with each other. Greenhouse You may want to join a neighborhood cost sharing program if you want to improve your landscaping and can't afford to do so on your own. You can consult with neighbors to have everyone pitch in to purchase and share certain tools. In this way, everyone shares in the purchase and maintenance costs. Build a schedule amongst yourselves that allows everyone cycled use of equipment improvement stores than they would be if purchased at a greenhouse. These kinds of plants are going to be of the same quality and you do not need to spend a great deal of money on them. Inspect the plants closely before you purchase them no matter where you buy them from. As long as you use what you've read here and don't get outlandishly crazy, your yard should transform from your nightmare to a dream come true. It just takes some effort on your part, a little time commitment and a relatively small amount of money, as well as, continuing to learn throughout the process. Have fun and good luck!
